Apple computers are not over-priced, in fact, for what they deliver, they are quite under-priced. But… Most people don’t need a high resolution monitor, the built in wifi and wireless keyboard and mouse. Thus, the misconception that Macs are overpriced. You see, when you take out those things and do a comparison, your not comparing apples to apples. It is still true though, you can buy a same exact hardware parts PC with a lower resolution monitor that is smaller in size also, and doesn’t have a wireless keyboard or mouse or built in wifi, and the PC will be cheaper, but of course it will, the monitor is smaller, not as high of resolution, and you didn’t have a wireless keyboard or mouse. People don’t need everything that comes with an iMac, so generally, people settle with cheaper PCs because they don’t need the high res monitor, built in wifi, or the wireless keyboard or mouse.
